LOVE IS driving to your sweetheart’s house at midnight because you worked all day and they worked at night and it’s the only time you have to see each other that day.

LOVE IS trusting your instincts and acting on them.

LOVE IS knowing when to give the other person some space.

LOVE IS being there for the other person even when its difficult or they are behaving oddly.

LOVE IS believing in the other person.

LOVE IS relaxing together on the sofa watching a movie together.

LOVE IS spending quality time together.

LOVE IS loving them unconditionally even when they are not being particularly loving towards you.

LOVE IS seeing a silly movie that you know your sweetheart would like.

LOVE IS taking a walk together in nature.

LOVE IS loving them even if they have a temporary emotional wall built up around them.

LOVE IS being flexible.

LOVE IS doing your best to stay open and receptive even when you feel scared & vulnerable.

LOVE IS making your own happiness your priority.

LOVE IS multitasking, looking after yourself and still showing kindness and LOVE to your sweetheart.

LOVE IS the most magical and wonderful feeling there is!!!

My picture this week came to me while driving past a store in Los Angeles.  I just happened to look over and saw these cool lights!

I encourage you this week to look at the places where LOVE IS in your life.

GREAT LOVE is about uplifting your partner, not tearing them down, not referring to them as stupid, name calling behind their back or to their face.  It’s about getting to the root of your own feelings of anger, not blaming someone else for the way you feel.

GREAT LOVE is about being supportive, encouraging one another, believing in the good and the Love that is within you and between you.  It’s about caring for yourself and the one you Love.  Feeling proud when you talk about them to others.  It’s about knowing that GREAT LOVE can overcome anything.  LOVE has the power to transform your past, your perceived issues, any outside circumstances and heal you in the most profound way.

Simply put GREAT LOVE conquers all.

My picture this week came to me when I just “happened” to look down at the ground in front of me.  Sometimes it’s how the gap is filled in that makes all the difference.

If you pay attention to nature you will see how the natural order of Love is demonstrated to us every day.  Examples of TWO are all around us in nature.

I often see birds in the sky flying by or sitting together on a wire high above the street and I have begun to notice that the majority of the time there are always two birds together.  Very occasionally there is a whole flock and very rarely do I see one bird by itself.  Most of the time there are two birds together.

There are many other examples of TWO in nature.  Plants and trees need both Sun AND Rain in order to grow and flourish.  Also in order for plants to bloom they need a bee AND pollen from a flower.  Even the fact that it takes TWO humans to create a child is by design no accident.

Real and GREAT LOVE is between TWO people – no one else.  It is certain.  It exists and it is truly magical!!  Yes we can Love other people in different ways, such as our family and friends.  However, I believe in order to CREATE GREAT LOVE in our own life, ONE must accept the fact that it starts and ends with TWO.

Here’s 2 GREAT LOVE!

My picture this week comes right from LOVE!  It’s a scratch off instant lottery ticket!  It was inspired by my Sweetheart!

What at does the word attention mean?  The dictionary definition is as follows:

notice taken of someone or something; the regarding of someone or something as interesting or important.

I believe that what we put our attention on grows.  To help CREATE GREAT LOVE in our lives we must pay attention in order for Love to grow.

So what do we need to pay attention to? Firstly to our own feelings, acknowledging how we are feeling is step one. Then paying attention to someone who is important to us.  Asking them how they are and then truly listening to their answer.  Staying present when you are with them, not being carried away by other distractions demonstrates GREAT LOVE.  It’s a very simple action to take yet it requires us to be aware in each moment.

When I was in high school, my English teacher would give us writing assignments and my mother would say to me “Put yourself in the other persons shoes and write from that perspective”.  That was such good advice and applies to creating better relationships with others as well.  I believe Actors do this all the time in their work.  They pay attention to how their character is feeling in different situations.

I encourage you this week to ask yourself who is important to you?  Once you know who that is for you, give them some extra attention.

My picture this week comes from the cupcake bakery in Beverly Hills called Sprinkles.  Such loving attention was given in this sweet creation.

Why is it so difficult sometimes for people to declare their Love for another person?  They may fully feel that Love, they may believe it in their heart, yet they are struggling with letting the world know how much they Love this other person in their life.

What is that?  Is it fear of failure?  Is it fear of commitment? Is it fear of success or fear of change?  What holds someone back from declaring their Love? Why keep it a secret?  Why hide it?  Loving someone is the most natural thing in the whole wide world.  OUR TRUEST NATURE IS TO LOVE.  So what stops us?

What is stopping you from declaring your LOVE?  Why play it safe?

You know when it’s time.  You know how you feel.  Great Love is to be treasured, nurtured, admired, protected and enjoyed.  It is to be celebrated!!  If you have GREAT LOVE in your life let it shine so that it may light the way for others.

This week I encourage you to take that leap of faith.  Without expectation for the outcome.  SIMPLY DECLARE YOUR LOVE.  Be unafraid to express it to the world, for in that, you will find true freedom.

My picture this week was a literal sign outside the macaroon store at the mall.  Simple and directly to the point.

The word ‘GRAND’ is defined as outstanding, impressive, worthy of respect, wonderful, enjoyable and memorable.  That is why this week’s blog is dedicated to GRAND LOVE!

Close your eyes for a moment and image what this type of Love would look like to you.  Put a big smile on your face and really feel what wonderful, enjoyable Love would be like in your life at this time.  Imagine receiving lots and lots of beautiful, delicious hugs and kisses!!  Doesn’t it make you feel so happy and so Loved!!!

Another way to feel Grand Love is to contemplate the word EXPANSIVE.  A Grand relationship feels open and expansive.  Think of the most exquisite view of the Grand Canal in Italy, that big wide open expanse of water.  Enlarge your thoughts and your mind, by seeing no limits or boundaries to the type of Love you wish to create for yourself.

My picture this week was taken while I was in the Costco store.  It says it all……

Grand Love

I encourage you this week to spend some time daydreaming about your own version of GRAND LOVE.
